Under Level 3, our current restricted site access protocols will remain in place. All non-essential visitors are requested not to enter our Morton Mains site and Auckland office. This is a COVID-19 precautionary measure for the safety of our visitors and our staff.

GUIDELINES

If you are unsure whether you are an essential visitor or unsure about your health status, please call reception BEFORE entering:

Non-essential visitors include but are not limited to:

  • Customers
  • Farmer-suppliers (who are not personally transporting stock)
  • Other suppliers and salespeople
  • Shareholders
  • Contractors (without prior permission to enter)
  • Consultants and other specialists (without prior permission to enter)
  • Job applicants
  • Family and friends of employees
  • Neighbours
  • Media
  • All other visitors who can conduct their interactions with us via phone, email or teleconference

The Morton Mains site gate access is controlled. Before entry, all essential visitors are required to stop at the gate access point to:

  • Provide vehicle and contact details. This is for contact tracing purposes
  • Undertake a simple screen of health status (Health Checklist) – this may include contactless temperature checking

Essential visitors that do not pass the Health Checklist (displaying any symptoms consistent with COVID-19) will be denied access or requested to leave. The Ministry of Health includes the following symptoms as consistent with possible COVID-19 infection:

  • A cough
  • A high temperature (at least 38°C)
  • Shortness of breath

While on-site please follow these simple precautionary measures and behaviours:

  • Avoid unnecessary interactions with all employees
  • Follow the Ministry of Health’s guidelines on social distancing; maintain a 2-metre distance from others where possible. Avoid all situations of less than 1m physical distance at all times
  • Wear all supplied PPE, if requested to do so
  • Follow the Ministry of Health’s guidelines to cover your cough/sneeze with a tissue or your elbow
  • If you need to enter one of our offices, please wash your hands thoroughly using one of the hand sanitiser stations before interacting with employees
